Good entertainment - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
This movie is never dull and is somewhat funny by times. I wouldn't give it any Oscars, but I would recommend it as good entertainment for someone who is not in the mood for anything too deep or serious.
Review of "ocean's eleven" - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
Well-delivered, smart, fluid, funny and good acting...overall a very good movie. "Ocean's Eleven" had no glaring flaws, and numerous glaring strengths...well deserving of an A-.

Ocean's eleven - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
This is such a great blockbuster that lived up to the expectation and is a movie me and my friends still talk about. The all-star cast is a huge draw, but the witty plan the eleven-man crew forms is just as interesting. I also loved the characters played by Bernie Mac, Eddie Jemison, Casey Affleck, Scott Caan, Carl Reiner, and Elliot Gould. They are very interesting, and funny characters that are a joy to watch on the screen.

Meh? - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
The movie started off OK, got boring, got good, then stayed good for a while then ended boring. The Acting was great, as well as the direction with an all-star cast, but an odd story. Thsi movie was meh?....... Ok
Thd g-d coolest movie ever made - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
What was not cool about this movie? Only one thing...The sequel. First of all, we bring together some of the coolest mofos in Hollywood together to lead this team of thieves in Brad Pitt and George Clooney. Second, Andy Garcia as a billionaire ***** was outstanding. The dialogue, story, and directing all unforgettable. I have not seen the original but I will now after watching this one.
They're back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
This Time The Crew Is Back And They Have Been Found By Terry Benedict(Garcia) Who They Stole The Money From In The First Movie. He Wants His Money Back Plus Interest So They Have To Go To Amsterdam, Rome & Paris For 3 Different Heists In Order To Make Back The Money Because The U.S. Knows All About Them And They Can't Pull Off Any Heists There. Danny Ocean(Clooney) & Rusty Ryan(Pitt) Must Lead The Crew To The Scores Before The Night Fox Another Burglar Gets To It. Not As Good As The First One And That Stupid Crap With Julia Roberts Playing Herself Was So Dumb!

Nothing is perfect... except this movie! - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
I am surprised how underrated this movie was, i thought it could of won a couple oscars. only about one year until the sequel. but this movie was awesome, you can't ask for a better cast; clooney, pitt, damon, garcia, roberts, etc. this is my favorite movie of all time and i think it will be forever, 'cinematic perfection.'
Blowin it up - Ocean's Eleven Reviews

George clooney's best movie - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
I thought Ocean's Eleven is boring and bad. But after I saw this movie, I really thrilled. Even the story was about crime, but it doesn't mean that this film is worst. I'll wait for the sequel!!!

Engaging - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
Detailed plot, great acting, and big names make this movie an enamoring movie I will watch over and over. Soundtrack is also a great success.
Good - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
Ocean's Eleven has this charm that just makes you root for the crooks, as opposed to many other movies where thieves and murderers are all alike. Ruthless and cold. The category of "thief" movies are more commonly described as the gangster/crime genre, but how can you compare movies like the Godfather and Dog Day Afternoons to a completely different stlye of crime. In "thief" movies, there is no killing or anything that is undeserved. However, thief movies all have basically the same plot like, steal from a rich, powerful and cruel tycoon of some sort, and bring some justice to him. It just gets tiring after a while.
George Clooney is excellent as a fast talking con man in this movie, along with the rest of the cast. They are smooth, sophisticated, have a good sense of morals (for the most part) and a certain method of getting what they want most of the time.
The movie lets the viewer have a good sense of what Las Vegas is like. A giant playplace for those who have money and a good sense of fun.
The other locations such as St. Petersburg or Los Angeles have fitting music that goes well with the atmosphere.
Ocean's Eleven was made to let you see from the criminal's point of view, and let you sympathize with them. This movie would be good to see if you are feeling depressed or just in the mood for good music.
One of the best - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES AF ALL TIME! IT CONTAINS SOME OF THE BEST (AND CUTEST) ACTORS IN MY OPINION LIKE MATT DAMON, GEORGE CLOONEY AND ESPECIALLY BRAD PITT! YOU HAVE TO SEE IT! ITS SO GREAT!

Deserves eleven stars. - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
I've never seen a more brilliant film than this. The plot was PERFECT.Steven Soderbough has made a remake that is actually better than its original one.
George Clooney and Brad Pitt certainly played their part in keeping us entertained. The whole casts was fantastic.Andy Garcia, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts, Don Cheadle and others have made us think that they deserve an Oscar each.
If you are thinking to watch a good and refreshing movie with your family, watch Ocean's Eleven and you will fall in love with it.
This movie rocks - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
I have never seen the first one with the cast of Frank Sinatra. I like this remake better. Julia Roberts' betrayal totally surprised me. It has an amazing cast and the way they played Benedict-i was so amazed. Their plan was surprising and i just thought, wow.
This movie rocks - Ocean's Eleven Reviews

My top 10 - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
This movie is just tons of fun. They do a great job of ballancing letting the viewer know what they will do and leaving him anxious to see how they will do it. Just a wonderful film. (and very different from the original)
Better than the original. - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
Watched both the original and the remake within a week of each other and the remake is far superior. The only reason people will like the original is the ratpack. I love caper movies and this one rolls out like the best of them. Enough twists and turns and then an ending that totally had me fooled. Plus great acting all around.

Ocean's eleven, truely great! - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia, and Julia Roberts are truely greta in this film. We saw it in the theaters, and we just had to see it again. It turely is a fun ride to watch, and the surprise ending will amaze you (note: the scented Pinetree air freshener will make since at the end of the movie). So go rent it or whatever, you'll be glad ya did!

Full of frolic and cheer - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
Extremely light star-studded romp that's lots of fun. Clooney and Pitt lead a most-likable crew on a heist in Vegas that have you cheering for bad guys or are they? Great shots of Vegas - enjoyed seeing Andy Garcia playing the fallguy and Julia Roberts adds a nice touch.
How can you not like this movie? - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
This has to be one of the best films I have ever witnessed in my life. It had a great idea. I can't stop watching this movie. I mean when I watch it I never get bored of it. The acting was good. The plot was fun to watch. It is just about a crew of 11 people trying to steal money from a casino. Nobody has ever done this before. You will have to see what happens.
The plot-twists are amazing - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
This is one of the films that you can watch over and over because you find something new each time. The cast is also amazing, Brad Pitt did the best although the others were all good to. Its just fun to watch.

Trickeration - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
A classic of a classic. I never saw the original but i can tell why it was remade. Storyline is magnificent, casting and acting was pretty much perfect, with very slight exceptions. One of the coolest movies ever made.
Casinoes, cons and compulsive eating - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
Get some of the most high profile actors in Hollywood together for a crime caper and what do you get? Generally you get something rather enjoyable, but fairly forgetable. Ocean's though is a movie that has higher ambitions than that and follows through on most of them.
Premise: Danny Ocean is fresh out of jail and hankering to knock over some casinoes, namely three owned by Terry Benedict who has stolen something that Danny can't bring himself to lose, his ex-wife. Danny gets together a crew of the strangest bunch of con artists on the face of the earth and plans to pull off the biggest hiest in Las Vegas history, not only the cash, but his ex-wife as well.
What Was Good: The cast is somehow able to pull off their dialogue perfectly and really do play a likable, albeit rather quirky, bunch. Clooney is slick and dapper as Danny Ocean. He could charm the paint off the walls and does everything with an effortless dash of charm. Brad Pitt is thoroughly likable as the card sharp Rusty Ryan. He's Danny's righthand man and probably about as dashing as Danny is in a more laid back manner. Subtly sarcastic dialogue rolls off Pitt's tongue effortlessly as he pulls off his part in the cons without a misstep. He also has a habit of being eating in almost every scene of the movie, which starts to get a little amusing as his character downs nachoes, shrimp, and anything else edible as he casually gives instructions. The rest of the cast is just as quirky and endearing.
The dialogue is fast and witty without being forced. It's more in the delivery than the actual lines and the actors deliver.
What Didn't Work: There isn't much of this movie that's hard to swallow save Julia Roberts. Maybe she's just not in it enough to explain her rapid change of heart or why she ended up with the rather menacing Benedict in the first place. Who knows. Thankfully the rest of the movie distracts from that part.
Conclusion: I normally don't really enjoy crime capers, but this one is an exception that's fun to watch and truly enjoyable. They're criminals, they're wiseguys, but you can't take your eyes off of them.

Eleven stars! - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
11 con men robbing a casino vault on a fight night with one man actually wanting a certain someone back. A remake from the old Frank Sinatra original. Clooney and Pitt, what a pair. They made it so fun to watch and their clever one liners brought out a smirk here and there. The rest of the ensemble looked as though they've also been doing this for a while (comfortable). Already set in Vegas, they needed not to add extra scenery. A great a fun movie that combined drama, action, comedy and a bit of romance. A good "date" movie.
Ocean's 11 - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
This movie kicked ass! Okay, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, and George Clooney all in one movie...Can it get any better than this?! This whole movie was great from start to finish!
Slick - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
First of all, Brad Pitt is the object of my first man-crush (not a gay thing, but a healthy admiration) after this movie, and his wardrobe in this movie was as suave as can be.
The acting was nearly perfect, though I wasn't totally sold on a couple of characters. The script was as smooth as silk, everything clicked. Clooney, who usually annoys the heck out of me, played perfectly within the boundaries of his character without trying to outshine others.
Cast suits the movie - movie beats the original - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
This movie was smart and funny. The character i liked most was proabably Don Cheadle. Without him their whole plan woulda just busted. This movie i have to say beat the original. But then again, with all the technology they have today, thats prabably why. Usually remmakes are a waste of time, but not this one. See Oceans Twelve when it comes out.

Forgettable, but fun - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
Released con-man Clooney plots to rob three Vegas casinos in one fell swoop, putting together a rag-tag band of unlikely teammates, including card shark Pitt, pickpocket Damon, Florida retiree Carl Reiner, and an outrageous outfit wearing Hollywood type played by Elliot Gould, who looks like a cross between Mr. T. and Charles Nelson Reiley. Danny Ocean (Clooney) and his OCEAN'S 11 (the entire crew, including Clooney, makes for eleven partners who will split the loot) plan to rob the Bellagio, the Mirage and the MGM Grand, fictitiously owned by Andy Garcia, who has stolen Clooney's ex-wife, Julia Roberts. And if Roberts falls back into Clooney's arms for his success in the heist, Clooney can live with that, also.
O-11 is stylish entertainment, but just don't ask any questions about its improbable plot. Early in the movie, Clooney leads a demonstration showing how almost exactly impossible the task will be of breaking into the three casino's shared strongbox, on a fight night, during which Nevada law purportedly requires the establishment to have on hand enough money to back all of the transactions on the casino floors. All of those admonitions, however, quickly go out the window and we never have to think about some of the impenetrable obstacles that he describes again until a few hours after the movie has finished and we begin to wonder how the big hit could have been possibly pulled off, even given the movie's portrayal of the action.
But, anyone looking for tautologically reasoned plot flowcharts has come to the wrong movie if they are watching O-11. This, like the 1960 "Rat Pack" feature of which it is a remake (starring Frank Sinatra & Company), is really a group version of the buddy movie. As such, O-11 pulls off its objective. The movie is stylish and its glittering locations are sumptuously shot. At times, O-11'S cinematography possesses some of the hip visual assurance of some of Quentin Tarantino's films, or one of his lesser imitators, anyhow. For instance, one shot in which Clooney and Pitt are driving through Hollywood, shot from a camera in a fixed hover from behind the car, together with the jazzy soundtrack, lend O-11 a cool retro chic. Of course, the cast looks great -- down to Carl Reiner's fabulous shades -- and they are always immaculately lit.
The plot progresses in an almost linear way with few impediments, except some mostly amusing complications saved for the very end. Rounding off O-11 are an uncredited Don Cheadle in an unconvincing British accent, and Shaobo Qin as an acrobatic little guy who folds away easily and can be tucked into serving carts and such and comes in handy for sneaking into the strongbox. Scott Caan and Casey Affleck appear as sort of cinematic versions of Akbar and Jeff ("Simpsons" creator Matt Groening's "brothers or lovers or possibly both"), caught in an cyclical love-hate relationship. Eddie Jemison and Bernie Mac complete the crew. The 411 on O-11: it's brainless fun.

Good movie !!! - Ocean's Eleven Reviews
this is an almost perfect movie in todays workd of CGI movies which are really getting on my nerves, as they have nothing much to offer, except for meaningless action. I am an action movie Buff but action without a good story line is stupid. This movie however, is a delight to watch and one laughs in the end looking at the frustated and confused expression on Andy Garcia's face. I had seen it the day it was released and just keep on watching it. Great Star Cast, Good FUN/Comic (if people don't understand the funnny punch liners they don't have a sense of humour).
A SUPERV MOVIE
Trust me YOU WILL LIKE IT...
